Dear colleagues
I wrote to you in November 2023 regarding potential Conference of Directors of National Libraries (CDNL) in-person and online meetings in 2024.
IFLA have advised that they will hold an Information Futures Summit, hosted by IFLA President Vicki McDonald from 30 September to 2 October 2024 in Brisbane, Australia.
With this meeting confirmed, I am canvasing your availability via return email for attendance at a CDNL in-person meeting on Thursday 3 October in Brisbane (immediately following the IFLA Summit). The meeting topic will be ‘Cyber-security threats and what they require from us as leaders – before, after and during a cyber-security incident.’
We are also planning an online meeting in May this year. Thank you for your suggested discussion topics. I will be in touch again shortly with more information on the date and topic for our May online meeting shortly.
